Bet is a live-action Netflix original series released on May 15, 2025. It is inspired by the Japanese manga Kakegurui by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura.
The drama follows the story of Yumeko Kawamoto, a compulsive gambler who transfers into St. Dominic's Prep to uncover the dark secrets behind her parents' deaths.

Side Bet System[]
One of the concepts introduced is side betting, in which students can bet a certain amount of money on whether a specific condition is met or not before a timer expires, as well as the odds of it happening or not. A sample side bet is given.
- Yumeko bets; On a $750.00 bet, Mary will make Student Council by the end of the term, 100-1 odds.
If the condition is met, the better's reward is the bet amount multiplied by the percentage of the condition happening.
- [Bet Amount] x [Odds] = Reward
$750.00 x 100% = $75,000.00
Therefore, Yumeko gains $75,000.00 from the side bet.
