Blackjack 1:1 (1対1のブラックジャック) was played between Ayame Nureba and Nana Ootori in the spin-off Kakegurui Midari. Ayame played it against her in a last effort to get back the money she owed.
Rules[]
One player serves as the dealer and places one face-up and one face-down card in front of them. The other player is then dealt 2 face-up cards. The player’s goal is to have a total sum higher than that of the dealer without exceeding 21. After receiving their cards, the player may hit or stand:
- Hit: the player is given an additional card. If the player’s total exceeds 21, they will have instantly lost and the dealer wins. If not, they may hit again or stand.
- Stand: the player turn ends and the dealer reveals their second card.
If the dealers total is over 21 (and the player’s total has not exceeded 21), the player has won. Otherwise, the player with the higher total sum is the winner.

Prologue[]
Nana wanted to give Ayame a chance to pay off her debts with a game. If she lost, however, she must become a forced prostitute.
Game[]
Nana, using her trickery, was at an advantage against Ayame. However, both are surprised when another person intrudes on the story, being surprised that Ayame is alive: it was Midari Ikishima. She approached her and invited her to bet, but saw that she was playing with another girl. The surrounding students and Nana recognized her as the new president of the Beautification Committee. Midari offers to pay Nana to free Ayame, but Nana refuses, citing that the basic principle of Hyakkaou Private Academy was gambling.
Nana tries to continue the game, thinking that they would come to her, one after the other, but she is surprised along with Ayame when Midari accuses her of cheating. Nana gets nervous and asks what she was talking about and Midari explains how it worked, laughing and calling Ayame ridiculous for not having noticed, while Nana wondered how she found out if she hadn't seen the game properly speaking and, in the end, deduced that maybe she knew how to cheat better than she did.
Desperate Nana thinks that Midari probably knew about her cheating in her game with Ayame. However, she didn't want to believe this would be possible, claiming that she had no proof that she would be stealing, to which Midari replied that it was just how the cards were shuffled to the top, scaring her. Nana walks away and Midari suggests she distributes it right, but to which she doesn't respond, suggests another game.
Results[]
The game was stopped by Midari, so there were no winners.
