Confronting Girls is the thirty-sixth chapter of Kakegurui written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Toru Naomura.

Summary

The gamble between Erimi Mushibami, Midari Ikishima, and Yumeko Jabami finally begins, but elsewhere, Ririka Momobami and Mary Saotome talk privately together.

Plot

In a tea room, Terano Totobami and Kirari Momobami are catching up with each other, supervised by Yumi Totobami and Kirari Momobami, but before they begin, Terano tells Ririka that she's sick of her and her sister continuing to pull stunts like this.

In another room, Erimi Mushibami is going over the rules of their gamble, the Finger Cutting Guillotine game, one more time with Yumeko Jabami and Midari Ikishima. Before they begin, Ryota Suzui tells Erimi that if she brought the guillotine, she must know which string will cut the blade, but she assures him that the dealer, Inaho Yamato, will decide which string will connect to the blade.

Elsewhere, Mary Saotome is walking down the hall with her chip for The Election in her hand. She's deciding whether she wants to ally with someone and share the spoils, sit back for this one, or go for the president's chair herself. She then runs into Ririka Momobami, who's mask falls off when she falls on the floor, revealing her face to Mary. She quickly puts it back on and tells Mary they need to talk.

Back at the site of the gamble, Inaho invites everyone back in the room after she chose the winning string. Before the game begins, Yumeko asks her if she fully inspected the device, which she affirms, and the game begins.
