Deal with the Devil

Deal with the Devil is the first Opening song of the Kakegurui Anime. It is performed by the Japanese singer Tia. The intro foreshadows and depicts many events of the first season. It shows almost all elements of the twelve episodes, mostly in order even.

Intro

Yumeko running through a "banquet"

We first see Yumeko running hungry through a banquet layed out with fruits, flowers, Mary Saotome, Ryota Suzui and Kirari Momobami. Then, Mary is sitting on top of Ryota, while he was still a housepet playing the Rock paper scissors game from the first episode. Then Itsuki Sumeragi is seen kissing Yumeko's nails, alluding to her nail collection, while they are positioned in two arcs of cards, standing for the Double Concentration game they play.

Then Yuriko Nishinotouin is seen sitting in front of the Life or Death wheel. Behind her are trees with dice growing from its branches. Runa Yomozuki is also seen playing video games and Kumagusu holding the cup for Yuriko's gamble. Midari Ikishima is then seen shooting at a strung up person with a strawberry for a head. The other person also represents Midari, symbolizing her suicidal tendencies. In the back are pillers with strawberries and the cards used in her game with Yumeko. Then, we see Yumemi Yumemite performing under an arc composed of lemons and dice.

It zooms out through Kaede Manyuda's glasses, showing him sitting in seats next to Ririka Momobami and Runa with lemon heads. This depicts Yumemis show-gamble against Yumeko. The fact that Ririka's head is a lemon also foreshadows, that at this point, she is actually Kirari. After a quick duet of Yumeko and Yumemi, we see Sayaka Igarashi falling with Kirari reaching out for her and licking her face. This references the end of the Tower of Doors gamble, which wasn't actually in the anime. Everyone is quickly seen with a tropical drink. Then Yumeko embraces another version of herself.

Ryota is then sitting on a long table, with the other characters sitting at it. The words Heaven or Hell show up again. They reference the housepet system and how life at this school can either be. Yumeko then seductively unties Ryota's tie, before evaporating into bubbles. Kirari then offers her hand and the two dance together, symbolizing how similar they are, especially in their enjoyment of gambling. It ends with Kirari whispering something to Yumeko, who is surprised, before puffing into bubbles again.
