Delighted Girl is the thirteenth chapter of Kakegurui written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Toru Naomura.

Summary

As the ESP Game continues, the insanity of Midari Ikishima rises, while Yumeko Jabami is trying to win the game.

Plot

Elsewhere, Kirari Momobami is inviting Mary Saotome to join the Student Council. Mary thinks she is joking with her, but Kirari reveals that she is impressed with how far Mary has come. Mary refuses and Kirari wonders why, saying that she loves people she can't understand at all.

Back in the ESP Game, Midari Ikishima has just won the first round and is about to shoot Yumeko Jabami, until Yumeko says that the gun Midari has is her gun. She realized this because she had jammed lipstick in the gun in hopes it would stop any oncoming bullets, and instead harm the shooter. Despite this, Midari still shoots the gun. After that, Yumeko reveals that she actually didn't put any bullets in at all. Yumeko then asks the devastated Midari why she chose this game, to which she responds that she chose it because of the thrill involved.

Midari then asks Yumeko if she knows why she doesn't have her left eye. She tells her that she lost it in a gamble against Kirari, who thought seeing the back of a person's eye would be like seeing the other side of the moon. But when Midari gauged her eye out, Kirari was ultimately disappointed. Midari then begged for another gamble, saying that she still had another eye, but the president refused, and instead asked her to join the Student Council, saying that one day, she would kill her.

Ryota, meanwhile, decides that he is going to replicate Yumeko's last card layout in hopes that she would use it again. But, before the next turn can start, Yumeko tells Midari that she has a 100% chance of winning now.
