Feudalism Game (封建遊戯) is a game played in Kakegurui Twin.

Story[]

Mary Saotome doesn’t register in Yua Shishibas mind after losing the literary club, however Mary still wants to get back at her. She finds out Yua is planning on challenging Sachiko Juraku to a public match. Mary doesn’t care who her other opponent is, she simply wants to get back at Yua for her humiliating loss, and so thanks to a side bet Mary made with Sachiko, Mikura challenges Sachiko to a public match as well, with Mary being her stand in, and now it’s a three way gamble between Mary, Sachiko, and Yua.

Sachiko’s side bet[]

Mary asks Mikura to challenger Juraku to a public match, she responds by laughing at her and asking if she’s “out of her mind”. Juraku asks her to leave short after. Mary then tells both of them Yua’s plans to attack Sachiko next. Seeing Mary so determined sparks something in Sachiko, and so she proposes a side gamble; If Yua Shishiba does challenge Juraku to a game then Mikura will do the same and have Mary as a stand in, but on the chance that it never happens…Mary will become Sachikos pet. Mary agrees knowing what Yua is planning.

Rules[]

The dealer brings out 300 million yen, and gives 100 million to each player. Before the start of every round, each player must place 10 million yen as an “entree” fee. Then they have 5 pieces to pick from. (A king, which represents paper, a knight which is rock, or a farmer who represents scissors) At the count of three every player will place their piece on the table, and from there the rules follow those of rock, paper, scissors.

-

The pieces rank is as follows; Paper beats Rock, and Rock beats scissors. Scissors beats Paper.

There are two instances where a round can end in a tie: If every player plays a different piece, the round ends in a draw. Or if two kings roll the same side (See below for details)

Special rounds[]

There are a few special rounds in the Feudalism game, such as when two people play paper (King) against a rock (Knight). After all you can’t share winnings in feudalism…Every king piece has a die inside, which is used to determine the winner in the case of a tie. The six sided die has “No King” on two sides and “King” on the other four. Whenever two kings are played against a knight, the two kings will shake their piece and reveal the die. If one player rolls “No king” the player who rolled “King” wins the hand, however if both dice result in the same roll, then everyone gets their winnings back. Including the person who played rock. (This rule does not apply when playing two kings (paper) and a farmer (scissors), as scissors immediately beats paper).

If two scissors and one paper are played, the players who played the scissors will face off again until one loses. If both players run out of pieces it ends in a tie.

How to Win[]

When beginning the game the dealer will “lend” you 100 million yen. Whenever someone goes below 0 Yen, the game ends. The dealer will collect their 100 yen back, allowing you to keep everything else you’ve earned, however if your ending amount is 0 yen or less, you’ll owe the dealer 100 million yen.
