Gin Rummy (ジン・ラミー) is a game played between Nozomi Komabami and Ririka Momobami. Ririka was the one who challenged Nozomi, but she was the one to choose the game.

Rules

Each player receives ten cards at the beginning. The goal is to form melds, meaning specific groups of cards. Every turn the player can either take a card from the pile or one from the desk, which is where the previously discarded cards are. Then they must discard a card. If the player possesses a good combination they can knock, which ends the round and both players must show their hands. Whoever has better melds, wins. If all cards in one hand form one meld, that is called gin. It gives you the highest amount of points. A player can also knock before they have reached that state, if they worry that their opponent is about to do so.

At first they played fifteen rounds, in which they just betted money as a warmup. Nozomi won only one of them. They then wanted to play with votes, but Nozomi explained that she had none. Rather she wanted to play using Scumcoins. Ririka realized that the Scumcoins are fake and every buyer is getting tricked. Ririka then takes Nozomi up as an ally, which she gladly accepts. She then wants to face off against Rin Obami, which resulted in the War Game.
