To celebrate the anime's return for a second season:
- Three visuals were released.
- Seven bonus chapters by Taku Kawamura were published. Each of them about something that happened in season 1.
- Chapter 1 is Yumeko's arrival. 2 is Yumeko vs Mary and then Yumeko vs Itsuki. 3 is Yumeko vs Yuriko, followed by Yumeko & Mary vs Jun & Nanami. In the 4th chapter, Jun bullies Nanami. After, Midari points her gun at Ryota's head and actually shoots him. In chapter 5, Yumeko does the same but with Midari. Then, she begins the game against Yumemi. Chapter 6 continues their game. Followed by Kirari, posing as Ririka, setting up the gamble between Kaede and Yumeko. Chapter 7 shows Kaede's state after he lost against Yumeko. It ends with the game opposing Kirari to Yumeko and Ryota.
- Videos released about the cast members gambling with each other.
Differences between anime and manga[]
- In Chapter 44, Itsuki stated to be the only first year student in the top ranks, which would mean that Miyo is a second or third year, since she was in the top ranks as well. However, in Chapter 51, Mary looks for Miyo in the first-year classroom, where students confirm that Miyo and Miri have been absent, meaning that Miyo would be a first year student. The anime, however, fixes this plot hole by disregarding the comment that Itsuki is the only first year in the top ranks and making Miyo consistently a first year.
- In Kakegurui Twin, Mary takes over library prep room number two, where it becomes her gambling den. However, in Chapter 10, Sakura waltzes in since library prep room number was where Midari and her crew are hanging out. Where the problem lies is that Sakura was supposed to be walking at the library prep room number one, not two. There’s a proven by Chapter 35 of the original series where Yumeko, Erimi and Inaho walk into library prep room number one to gamble, and they find Midari and her posse.
- In Chapter 57, it is stated that Ibara cannot tell a lie since birth. He states they physically cannot tell a lie, but that was not the case earlier in the series. In Chapter 48, during the Greater Good gambling game in the fourth round, when Yumeko and Kaede claimed that they will not pay any more taxes in an attempt to drive out the traitor, Ibara says that he will follow suit. Obviously, Ibara not paying was proven to be a lie as everyone paid their taxes in the fourth round.
- In Chapter 37, we see the first color page featuring Erimi. Here, we can clearly see that she originally had blue eyes. However, in the anime, she had heterochromia with her left eye being blue and her right being pink. In the anime, Kirari and Ririka have some enhancements as they are much more well endowed their chest area in comparison to the anime, where there are more flat.
