Kakegurui is a live-action drama based on the Kakegurui manga directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa. The live-action drama adaptation was first announced on November 21, 2017. The drama was first broadcast on MBS on January 14, 2018, and TBS' slot Dramaism on January 16, 2018. The opening theme is sung by Re:versed titled "Ichi ka Bachi ka" while the theme song titled "Strawberry Feels" is sung by BIGMAMA. The drama was streamed on Netflix in Japanese with subtitles including English, Spanish, and Chinese in May 2018. The story follows the first half of Kakegurui's anime season. A few changes were made to the story, but overall it follows the original quite closely.
A second season started airing on April 1, 2019, following the second half of the first Kakegurui anime. The opening theme is still Ichi ka Bachi ka, this time sung by PassCode. The ending theme "mummy mummy" is sung by BIGMAMA. An insert song called "Meguri Megutte in your pocket" was sung by Yumemi's actress, Sayuri Matsumura.
An original feature movie was released on May 3, 2019, featuring the same cast and staff. Popular singer Soraru sang the theme song "I Fake Me".

Kakegurui the Movie[]
The movie follows an original story adapted from the light novel Kakegurui Joker. Various new characters have been added to the cast. They also appeared in the second season of the drama. The story revolves around the school searching for a representative and only those with enough money and status can vote/candidate. Amane's group Village fights against this and thinks everyone should have a right to participate in that election.
