Kokoro Aiura (愛浦 心) is a minor antagonist in Kakegurui Twin. She is a first-year student, and a classmate of Tsuzura Hanatemari, and Mary Saotome, being the first person to challenge Mary for a gambling match after her transfer.
Appearance[]
Kokoro is a girl of medium height. She has light hair that is tied into two curly short ponytails and two thin streaks that are curving from her ears.
She wears the standard uniform for girls.
Personality[]
Kokoro is a very mean person who does not care about housepets one bit and treating them horribly. She is devious and cheats during her games using her other followers. She is very confident and likes to gamble with others and make them her personal housepet. At the beginning of the Kakegurui story, Kokoro is overall almost identical to Mary Saotome herself.

Kokoro greets Mary Saotome to the school and then dumps water over Tsuzura Hanatemari, explaining how worthless housepets are. Then she challenges Mary to a match, planning to make her a housepet too. She cheats using infra-red markings on her cards, that a student behind her checks with his phone and tells her through signs on her back. After the first round, which she won, she prompted Mary to lick her feet and laughed.
But with the money from Tsuzuru, Mary challenged her again. Kokoro was sure that she would beat her again and already fantasizing about what she will do to her. Mary gives a card to Tsuzuru to hold, calling it her trump card. Using her cheat, Kokoro finds out it's a 3. Knowing that, she is ready to win. However, Mary puts down the Joker and wins the bet. Kokoro doesn't understand and is devastated. Mary explains, that the 3 she gave to Tsuzuru was just an already played card. It isn't cheating to give someone a card. Mary leaves a furious Kokoro behind in her debt.

At a later point in time, she sees Tsuzura and Mary again. Seeing Mary so successful, she makes her extremely mad, and she wants revenge that she organizes a class game against them and plans to make everyone in the class bully Mary after the game, but during the bullying she would act polite and forgive Mary, but Kokoro actually got the entire class to collaboratively cheat against Mary, but she is outsmarted again and then ends up being the target of humiliation in the end. However, Mary defends her, which Kokoro is embarrassed about.
After that, she becomes a bit softer and even shows up to the gambling den to gamble with the other girls.

Etymology[]
- The name Kokoro means "heart, mind, soul" (心).
- Ironically, since this is the thing, she seems to be lacking it.
- Kokoro's surname Aiura means "love, affection" (愛) (ai) and "inlet, bay, gulf" (浦) (ura).
