In Volume 1, Yukimi Togakushi is the president of the Literary Club, until Mary Saotome beats her in Limit Dice. Mary then takes on the role of the president of the club. They then officially open a Gambling Den and introduce their Magic Dice Game while wearing their signature maid costumes to draw more male students into their den. After Aoi Mibuomi's attack on their den, they have kept it closed.
In Volume 2, during the Coupling Party, Mary gives ownership of the club back to Yukimi verbally. But, in Volume 3, Yukimi asks Mary if that was for real or just to win the game, and Mary says that it was real.
In Volume 4, Mary says that they should reopen after midterms, to which Yukimi agrees.
In Volume 5, they officially reopen the gambling den, with a new game, Doubt Poker. A few days after the reopen, Sachiko Juraku razes the club to the ground, and they are forced to close their den again.
In Volume 7, after winning 5 million yen in a game of Hidden Rules against Naoko & Houko Ougatou in Volume 6, the den is able to reopen in time for the Bloom Festival. Tsuzura Hanatemari and Yukimi say that they will handle preparations for the festival, however the club is soon taken over by Eneru Rokujou, forcing both Yukimi and Tsuzura to play a game with her.
In Volume 8, Tsuzura and Yukimi open the den with a new game, Little Max.
In Volume 10 (Twin), the Literary Club is challenged by Aoi to a game of Conquer The Land, and the results are still undetermined, though it can be assumed that they lost.
Throughout the match it is revealed that Aoi is throwing the game in order to make the Literary club win the great bloom prize, however with the help of Sachiko Juraku, they’re given a smoother way to victory.
Kakegurui[]
In the main series, Mary has shown to still use the literary club room. Albeit, both Tsuzura Hanatemari and Yukimi Togakushi are no longer present. As shown after Kirari Momobami’s offer for Mary to join the student council was rejected, Mary retreated to the room to think, clutching Tsuzura’s hair clip as she reflected her talk with her.
