Nadeshiko Rurichou (瑠璃鳥 撫子) is a minor character from Kakegurui Twin. She is the third-year student, and the head of the Music Club.
Appearance[]
Nadeshiko has light long hair with multiple curly streaks that reach over her shoulders while the rest of her hair is also twirled at the end with a small hairpin on the left side and light-colored eyes or dark-colored eyes.
Although she wears the normal uniform, she has a brooch instead of the tie and also ruffles around her sleeves.
Personality[]
Nadeshiko is quite arrogant and sees herself as better than most. She is a devious gambler, but her attitude makes it hard for her to get customers at her den. In spite of her arrogance, she quickly pities herself when things aren't going her way and starts to comically sob. She also seems self-conscious of her inability to make friends and cares about Kurumi Kurume, who is apparently her only friend.
She has big dreams of becoming a famous piano player and wants to become better than Tsuzura Hanatemari, who is quite skilled. She really wants to obtain a Steinway piano, but her father refuses to buy anything but Japanese pianos, claiming that they're all the same anyway.
Profile[]
Kakegurui Twin[]
Nadeshiko is a good friend of Kurumi Kurume. During the school festival, Kurumi took Mary Saotome to her. When they arrived, Nadeshiko was playing the piano. She was annoyed to be interrupted, but when seeing who it was, she became excited to play against her. Mary noticed that she is very skilled.
Nadeshiko presented a game using different little weights and an old scale where she was sure to win. Mary devised a strategy, but Nadeshiko simply laughed and stated that she was silly, because her superior sense of hearing would make her win. When Mary attempted to leave with her money, Nadeshiko provoked her by saying she's a "commoner" and asking for a rematch. Mary got upset and accepted.
They played again and the stakes got higher. Nadeshiko was confident in herself and dreamed of buying a new piano after this game. But Mary tricked her and exposed her cheating, leaving her angry and devastated.
