Kurumi finds that the old nickel 50 yen coins weigh five grams. Mary is surprised. Kurumi says that Nadeshiko had eight 50 yen coins (four grams each) and five 1 yen coins (one gram each), totaling thirty-seven grams. If an old 50 yen coin was in there, the total weight should have been thirty-eight grams. Nadeshiko explains that she grated it down with a metal file. Kurumi wonders if that's being diligent or stupid. Mary points out that defacing currency is a crime. Kurumi confirms this. Nadeshiko questions what she has done and is afraid she might get arrested. Kurumi concludes that she was being stupid.
