Shagatake (舎ヶ岳) is a minor character in Kakegurui. She is a member of the Beautification Council and one of the personal assistants of Midari Ikishima.
Appearance[]
Shagatake has purple long hair that is tied in a small ponytail by a small red bow in the back with bangs covering the right side of her face, empty dark-colored eyes and purple fingernails.
Shagatake doesn't wear the red blazer of the red uniform instead she wears the white shirt open, exposing her red bra, a black band around her neck and has the same bracelets as Midari Ikishima.
Personality[]
Shagatake is a very loyal girl to Midari Ikishima who follows her orders and she is confident where she likes intimidating others and she is shown to be mean and rude as she shoves Ryota Suzui multiple times to hurry up.
She gets bored easily that she isn't patient and she doesn't care too much about other people getting harmed in Midari's games.

Shagatake appears together with Tooame when Midari Ikishima told them to arrest Yumeko Jabami where they also dumped a sack over Ryota Suzui and took them underground to play the ESP Game. She and Tooame stayed with him to ensure he wouldn't do anything that he shouldn't. They hurried him to continue, while he was visibly nervous. She was called by Midari during the game and then executed her orders.
Kakegurui Midari[]
Midari Ikishima often hangs out with her and the others where they often deal in shady gambles. She appears when Midari challenges Naoe Habakiri and brings her the money that she needs.

Later, when Midari decides to let more people join the Beautification Council, she invites her friends. Naoe is absolutely against this idea, explaining that the Council deals with the trash around the school, which means trash like them is not suitable for this role. Shagatake, Tooame and Kururudo look quite angry. Eventually, Midari makes them decide with a gamble as usual. In the end, although Naoe is declared the winner, she acknowledges them for being brave and says she may allow them to join on a trial basis if they change their bad attitude. Shagatake and the others smile and take a selfie with Naoe.

Etymology[]
- The name Shagatake means "house, hut, inn, mansion" (舎) (sha) and "Mt./mountain, peak" (岳) (take).
Trivia[]
- Shagatake also has a cameo appearance in Kakegurui Twin when Sakura Miharutaki visits Midari Ikishima.
- Shagatake has significant changes in her appearance in the anime adaptation of Kakegurui, she doesn't wear socks, but wears a red leg garter on her right thigh that matches Toame's and silver hoop earrings in each ear.
