Shine, Girls is the second part of series which is also referred as The Election arc and the thirty-fourth chapter of Kakegurui written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Toru Naomura.
Summary[]
The Momobami Clan is introduced to the Student Council and The Election officially begins.
Plot[]
After class, Yumeko Jabami shows Ryota Suzui her deposit from Kaede Manyuda for 3 billion yen after winning their gamble of Choice Poker. Ryota then congratulates her for losing her Housepet status. Mary Saotome enters their conversation and asks Yumeko what she did with Kaede's "life", and she tells her that she gave his Life plan to Itsuki Sumeragi. Mary proceeds to tell them that the Student Council has been disbanded for the Presidential Election.
In the Student Council room, Yuriko Nishinotouin asks why Kirari Momobami is doing this, calling it the "height of foolishness," and she explains to the members that that is exactly what she wants. She then snaps, and the Momobami Clan enters. Sayaka Igarashi then explains the family, it's origin, and the members all individually introduce themselves. Terano Totobami talks to Kirari and they speak of how the winner of the Election will be the new head of the family as well as the new school president. All the members agree to these terms except Yuriko.
As Ryota, Mary, Yumeko, and Itsuki read the flyer for the Election, Runa Yomozuki, the head of The Election Committee, makes an announcement concerning the rules of the Election. Elsewhere, the Momobami clan is walking around the school discussing their plan for the Election. After some discussion, Miroslava Honebami brings up Yumeko and what they plan to do with her. Terano tells her that they can do whatever to her as long as she doesn't get in their way.
