Shougou Soga (曽我 正業) is one of the major characters in the spin-off series Kakegurui Twin. He is a third year student in middle school at Hyakkaou Private Academy, who participates in high school's classes as a trial student.

Shougou has spiky silver and black hair. He wears a casual outfit consisting of a green shirt and a white, open-collared shirt over it. His eyes are golden-colored.

Kakegurui Twin[]
Mikoto and Shougou go to the Classical Music Society room. They take on Nadeshiko, its leader, in the traditional gamble of the club: Listen, Weigh, Jackpot. They make fun of this game that Nadehsiko has spent one year building. Nadeshiko lets them win the first game to lure them into betting more during the next one. During the second round, which was high stakes, Mikoto grabs Nadeshiko’s wrist. Nadeshiko had a watch on it that helped her cheat. They call up Kaede, who confirms that Nadehsiko cheated. She now owes the children 9 million yen. Nadeshiko is at serious risk of becoming a housepet.
Meanwhile, a third-year junior high school student named Yua Shishiba comes to the Literature Club to apply for admission. She says that she came to the club because of her admiration for Meari, but there is a hidden plot, which is revealed toward the end of the book.
Tsuzura intervenes. She believes that it was unfair to have Nadeshiko pay for a cheat that the kids had figured out before playing the second match. Tsuzura thus challenges Shougou. Mikoto selects the game: Blackjack. Yua and the Literary Club’s original members come to watch the confrontation. Shougou keeps going all-in and defeats Tsuzura. This loss plunged the Literary Club into debt. Mary, who has seen the game with attention, believes that Shougou is cheating. She has them play again, with the right to run the Literary Club at stake. After the match is over, Mary believes she’s seen through the trick. She officially accuses Yua of cheating. Mary explains the trick. Yua proves that she was slightly wrong, so Kaede gave the win to Shougou.
