Summary[]
Mary got back to the literary club’s room after her victory against Ouri and the Ougatou sisters. Mary asks Kurumi if she gave her five million to make her join Full-Bloom. Kurumi is accepted in the literary club. She threatened to ask her five million yen back to do so. Kurumi wants to see up close how Mary will evolve.
Meanwhile, Aoi is talking to Ouri. He tells her he has heard about her defeat against Mary that involved the Ougatou sisters. Aoi points out that she has done this without his consent. Ouri bows and apologizes. She admits to her actions. She wants to atone for her misconduct. Aoi tells her that it's fine because she acted with Full-Bloom's best interest in mind. He admits that he's surprised at Mary beating the Ougatou sisters and Ouri simultaneously. Ouri angrily says that Mary didn't defeat her. She adds that she hasn't lost a single yen, and emphasizes that she has not lost to her. Aoi doubts it, but calmly apologizes. He then tells Ouri that the plan didn’t change.
Kurumi talked to the literary club members about the Bloom Festival. Yukimi explains that the biggest difference between this festival and their every day gamble is the scale. The festival will last one week. Mary suggests that they take a break for the entire week. Yukimi answers that during the Bloom Festival, people are loose with their money. She doesn’t want to let this chance slip through their fingers. Mary plans on paying back the five million to Kurumi and wants to come up with a special festival game. Yukimi and Tsuzura want Mary to leave this to them. Mary is puzzled by this decision. Yukimi explains that Mary thought up Magic Dice and Doubt Poker. She also led them to victory in the Coupling Party and Treasure Hunt. Yukimi and Tsuzura want to pitch in too once in a while. Mary doesn't know what to do. Yukimi suggests that Mary gambles in other rooms. She adds that the strategy of them staying in their room, while Mary seeks other rooms, is the most efficient way to make a mint during the event. Mary's aim is for them to make ten million.
Plot[]
Yukimi confirms that Mary has received five million yen. Tsuzura and she congratulate Mary. Kurumi then walks in the room. She lets Mary know that she has heard about her victory against Ouri. Mary asks Kurumi if she gave her five million to make her join Full-Bloom. Kurumi denies it. Mary wants to pay Kurumi back. She doesn't take the money, knowing that this money is all Mary has got. Kurumi adds that if Mary loses these five million, she won't be able to pay for this room, so she'll become a housepet. She then asks Mary to let her in the literary club. Mary is puzzled. She doesn't want to let a Full-Bloom member in.
Kurumi explains that what Mary did in the Coupling Party couldn’t have been dumb luck. She won thanks to her insane talent and competitiveness. Mary loses and suffers now and then, but stands back up in the end. Kurumi explains that all that got to her because Mary is so human. She understands why Aoi and Juraku obsess over Mary. Kurumi wants to see from up close the things she talked about happening to Mary, what Mary thinks, and how she evolves.
Mary still doesn't want to let Kurumi in because of her affiliation with Full-Bloom. Kurumi thus threatens to claim back her five million. Mary asks Yukimi her opinion. Yukimi has no problem with Kurumi joining. Tsuzura also welcomes her in. Mary still has doubts because of Full-Bloom.
