We would never accept that! None of us could agree with that ridiculous offer. Quit rocking the boat, Yumeko Jabami!

Terano Totobami to Kabura Tsuibami and Yumeko Jabami

The Assembled Girls is the 110th chapter of Kakegurui, written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Toru Naomura.

Summary[]

Every Student Council member gathers with Yuu and Yukihime. The other Guardians Society representatives don’t reveal their identities. Kabura explains the competition format. It’s a knockout system. Members of each team can gamble against anyone on the opposing side, if both parties agree. Whoever loses is out of the event. Once the seven members of a team are eliminated, the event ends. Kabura declares that the competition has begun.

Plot[]

The Guardians Society is about to explain the Gamble Cruise rules to the new Student Council. Rin sees Ibara gambling with other students. He’s happy that Ibara is having fun on the trip while he can.

Itsuki learns of the competition and meets up with Kaede. She doubts he has anything to gain in helping Kirari out. As Kaede used Kirari too, according to him, and used the dignity of the council, he believes they had an equal relationship. He has no problems with helping out his equal. Runa brings Kaede away. He asks her why she accepted the invite to the competition. During the election, Runa had kept on claiming absolute neutrality, even when Kirari was involved. Runa responds that she’s still in a position of absolute neutrality, the way she sees it.

Ririka stares at pictures of Kirari on her gallery and goes to the meeting room. As every student council member has gathered with Yuu and Yukihime. Terano asks about the other members’ whereabouts. Yuu admits that they won’t reveal their identities. She calls Yuu a fool for giving herself away. Yuu smirks and mentions that they reaped benefits from her actions.

Kabura explains the competition format. It’s a knockout system. Members of each team can gamble against anyone on the opposing side, if both parties agree. Whoever loses is out of the event. Once the seven members of a team are eliminated, the event ends. In every match, an election committee member will be the dealer. Kaede asks how they’re supposed to agree to a game with the Guardians Society representatives if they don’t know what they look like. Kabura replies that all 14 participants will wear a ring. Identical to the one Yumeko already has. If someone loses a game, they have to throw it into the ocean, including Yumeko. Childhood memories of Yumeko, related to the ring, flash through her mind.

Kabura provokes Yumeko, saying that she should be happy as thrill is what she seeks in gambling. Yumeko confirms her delight and realizes that all Kabura wanted was to gamble against her. She proposes a match with Kabura right now, instead of all this competition setup. Kabura suggests they roll a die to decide the winners of the match. If it rolls on even, the Student Council wins and if it’s odd, the Guardians Society wins. Yuu and Yukihime are fine with that. Terano vividly opposes it. Kabura thus reverts back to the old rules and declares that the competition has begun.
