The Harvesting Girl (Part 2) is the second part of the 75th chapter of Kakegurui, written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Toru Naomura.

Summary[]

The Grand Tournament ends with two winners. Terano now has to pay ten million yen for each of the 200 bets. She accepts to do that. Terano says she’ll have to gamble herself. Rin suggests that she gambles against Kirari, but she refuses. Yumeko asks for one more match with Mary, now that it’s just the two of them. Mary declines, saying that her 250 votes aren’t just for her, and turns to Ririka to tell her that it’s her turn to gamble. Kirari tells Sayaka that she wants to gamble against Ririka in a match that could spell major advances and setbacks, even for her.

Plot[]

Sayaka doesn’t want the Grand Tournament to end like this. Since there are no rules about ties, she thinks they should keep playing until there is a winner. Kurara says that it’s over after five rounds, so the Grand Tournament’s final ends in a draw. Both Yumeko and Mary are champions.

Every student that made a side bet on this game is delighted. Terano now has to pay ten million yen for each of the 200 bets. Ruri Fuen tells Terano to let The Election Committee decide on how to handle payouts between Terano and the students. Terano says that every student who placed a bet will receive their winnings.

Ibara says that it’ll be a huge loss. Rin asks her to argue with each bettor. Terano says that losing the students’ trust is worse than losing that money. Everybody will think that they are scammers and nobody will want to gamble with them. Terano admits defeat. She says she’ll have to gamble herself. Rin tells her that there is a much easier way of getting votes. Terano understands what Rin meant and tells him she’ll never gamble against Kirari

Yumeko asks Mary for one more match, now that it’s just the two of them. Mary is not against that, but she still declines. She adds that these 250 votes aren’t only for her. She turns to Ririka and tells her that it’s her turn to gamble.

Sayaka made a report on the grand tournament for Kirari. Sayaka was peeved about there being two winners because that’s just one more person who hasn’t dropped out of the tournament. Kirari thanks her and says that she wants to gamble. She wants a match that could spell major advances and setbacks, even for her. Sayaka asks her who she wants to gamble against. Kirari says: “The other bearer of the Momobami name.”
