Plot[]
Sakura finds Midari in Library Prep Room #2. Sakura knows that for the past month, Midari has been betting in tons of gambling dens, wagering for the rooms themselves, and seized most of them. Midari doesn't see anything wrong with it. Sakura explains that Midari owes five million yen for five out of the seven rooms she's seized. The payment is due today. Sakura requests the money now. Midari laughs hysterically. Her assistants laugh too. They say they don’t have all that money; if they did, they would have spent it by now.
Sakura has her Beautification Committee members inspect the room. Midari suggests they gamble over it. Both of them want to settle this quickly. Midari allows Sakura to pick any game inside the room. If Sakura wins, Midari will pay now, but if she loses, she must leave the room. Sakura accepts and picks a die. She wants to do one game of Even or Odd. Sakura has to guess whether a die rolled by Midari will land on an even or odd number.
Midari rolls and asks if it's odd or even. Sakura quickly responds even. Midari asks her whether she's confident or desperate. Sakura presses Midari to take out the cup. The die had landed on six, so Sakura wins. Midari hands the money and asks Sakura for her reasoning. Sakura says that she used Midari's cheating against her. She believes Midari guided her to choose dice, the simplest game in the room tied with card games. Both cards and dice are easy to rig.
Sakura explains that the die she held was loaded on the “two” side, so it would land on “five”. Midari swapped the die before rolling, knowing Sakura would pick up on the initial weighted die, to a die that would land on 2, 4, or 6. The Beautification Committee is amazed by Sakura's quick thinking. Midari calls them out before they leave. She puts down 30 million for a rematch. Midari assures them she won't touch the die this time, and Sakura can choose to be the guesser again. She explains that there is no reason to decline if the die is going to land on "five" anyway.
Sakura refuses. She considers the possibility of Midari switching the die again when they weren't paying attention or making her think she did so. The committee walks out. Midari is shocked and wonders what’s the matter with Sakura. She actually did not touch the die once since the last roll. When Midari switched the die before rolling, it was for a non-loaded one. It simply landed on even by luck.
Meanwhile, Mary surprises Yukimi by accepting the Full-Bloom entrance exam. Mary believes there's nothing to lose, as she'll learn about a Sakura, a Full-Bloom councilor, and there's no money involved. Sakura welcomes the Literary Club in the Club Building. Sakura explains that if Mary wins, she'll have a councilor seat waiting. She adds that the dealer chose to hold this game in the Club Building, not her. She opens the door, and Mary is shocked to see Sachiko and Mikura. Sachiko is the dealer.
Yukimi is confused as the Full-Bloom society’s aim is to take down the student council, which Sachiko is part of. She asks Sachiko if she is part of Full-Bloom. Sachiko denies it. She doesn’t care about the groups, she just wants to see Kirari and Aoi, two people who've never had to deal with a single setback, face off and see the face of the loser. That’s why Sachiko stays close to both of them without ever fully committing to one. Sachiko explains that the entire building serves the gambling. They're going to play a building-wide Treasure Hunt.
