Summary[]
Despite their grades, three middle school students: Mikoto, Shougou, and Yua enter the Hyakkaou Academy High School building.
Meanwhile, Mary made a name for herself in the school. Yukimi explains that people now fear her since she beat Aoi. Mary questions if she really has become a winner. They cross paths with the middle school students. These students are sitting in on classes on a trial basis as the best students in their grades.
Tsuzura is playing the piano in the Music Room. Nadeshiko recognizes her skills. She proposes that Tsuzura listens to her playing the piano now. Tsuzura accepts. Nadeshiko is stressed because she’s afraid of messing up in front of her biggest rival. As she’s about to begin, Mikoto and Shougou enter the room abruptly. Tsuzura notices that they’re middle school students. They’re here to gamble.
Nadeshiko lets them know that this den only hosts one game: Listen, Weigh, Jackpot. She explains its rules. The underclassmen mock Nadeshiko for devising this gamble. She gets deeply offended. Tsuzura suggests that Nadeshiko declines their gambling offer. Nadeshiko accepts it anyways, as she’s certain that the result will be in her favor.
At the same time, Yukimi, Mary, and Kurumi discuss the game they should pick. Yukimi announces that she doesn’t think any classic casino game is suitable for the Literary Club. Kurumi proposes that Mary goes to gamble outside this room. Mary asks if she can leave the room and wants to stop for today. Yukimi isn’t sure whether Mary is doing fine. A person suddenly enters the room. It's Yua Shishiba.

Despite their grades, three middle school students: Mikoto, Shougou, and Yua enter the Hyakkaou Academy High School building.
Meanwhile, Mary defeats someone in Poker. She leaves and complains about people always folding against her, making her wins and losses small. Yukimi explains to Mary that it makes sense that people fear her since she beat Aoi. Rumors of that victory quickly spread across the school.
Yukimi believes that Mary is now seen as one of the best gamblers of Hyakkaou. She sees Mary being feared as an advantage for her. Mary questions if she really has become a winner. Yukimi and Mary cross paths with the middle school students. They’re sitting in on classes on a trial basis as the best students in their grades.
Tsuzura is playing the piano in the Music Room while being watched by Nadeshiko. Nadeshiko recognizes Tsuzura’s skills. She suggests that Tsuzura study abroad, in Vienna for example. In reality, Nadeshiko just wants less competition in Japan. Tsuzura responds that she wants to stay here and become a winner with Mary.
Nadeshiko asks her why she’s not in the Literary Club’s room. She responds that since they beat Aoi, they don’t have customers, and can’t profit from Little Max. A debate is going on with Literary Club members about their next game. Nadeshiko proposes that Tsuzura listens to her playing the piano. Tsuzura accepts.
Nadeshiko is stressed because she’s afraid of messing up in front of her biggest rival. As she’s about to play “Chopin - Piano Sonata No. 3”, Mikoto and Shougou enter the room without knocking. Tsuzura notices that they’re middle school students. They’re here to gamble.
Nadeshiko lets them know that this den only hosts one game: Listen, Weigh, Jackpot. She explains its rules. Shougou disrespectfully asks her if she came up with this game. Nadeshiko proudly informs them that it’s entirely her creation and she took half a year to devise it.
Mikoto mocks Nadeshiko for taking half a year to develop this gamble. Nadeshiko is deeply offended. Tsuzura finds Mikoto and Shougou weird. She suggests that Nadeshiko declines their gambling offer. Nadeshiko accepts it anyways, as she’s certain that the result will be in her favor. This is because of a cheat in the game that Nadeshiko believes gives her a 100% winning chance.
At the same time, Yukimi, Mary, and Kurumi discuss the game they should pick. Yukimi announces that she doesn’t think any classic casino game is suitable for the Literary Club. Kurumi understands that they need to make up a new game. She believes it’s better for them if Mary goes to gamble outside this room.
Mary asks if she can duck out for today. Yukimi isn’t sure whether Mary is doing fine. A person suddenly enters the room. She introduces herself as Yua Shishiba.
