Summary[]
The Blackjack game begins. Tsuzura gets a hand worth 19. She wins the showdown with 19 against 16, gaining 10 chips. Tsuzura receives an ace and an eight in the next round, giving her a hand worth of 19. She raises Shougou's bet of 2 chips to 20 chips. Yukimi notices that Tsuzura is different from usual. Shougou admits that Tsuzura exceeds his expectations. He goes all in. The Literary Club members are astounded.
The middle schoolers put 8 million yen at stake in this single round. Tsuzura thinks it through and decides to fold, which gives Shougou 20 chips. Shougou doesn't reveal that he had a Blackjack. He tells himself that Tsuzura was doomed from the start. Shougou goes all in during the next turn. Tsuzura folds again. The middle school boy also goes all in in the next rounds. Yukimi thinks this strategy is bad, as Tsuzura doesn’t lose many chips by folding. Tsuzura gets a Blackjack in the following turn. Shougou quickly folds, giving his opponent one chip. Mary can’t believe that Shougou manages to fold only when Tsuzura has a good hand.
Yukimi realizes that the situation is terrible when Shougou leads the game 165 chips to 15. Both sides go all in in the following round. Tsuzura is out of chips, as she loses the showdown 14 to 21. Tsuzura's club can afford the 9 million she owes. Yukimi tells her that losing in gambling happens. Mary thinks there is a chance for Tsuzura to come back.
Plot[]
The Blackjack game opposing Tsuzura and Shougou begins. The players receive their cards. Tsuzura got a three and a nine. If she gets a ten or a face card, she busts. Any other card will improve her chances of winning. She hits and obtains a two. Shougou stands. Tsuzura hits again. She gets a five and now has 19.
Tsuzura then stands. The betting round begins. Tsuzura bets two chips. Mary believes that the skill aspect of this game is all about the betting. Mikoto makes fun of the betting strategy she thinks Tsuzura is using. Shougou surprises his opponent by raising to ten chips. Tsuzura calls.
She wins the showdown with 19 against 16. Mary concludes that Shougou thought that Tsuzura busted. She still thinks there is a problem with that possibility. Shougou says that he assumed Tsuzura would fold. The second round begins. Tsuzura received an ace and an eight.
She thus has a hand worth 19 and decides to stand. Shougou hits once and then stands. He starts the betting with two chips. Mary feels that it’s an opportunity for Tsuzura to make a low-risk bet. Tsuzura shocks the spectators and her opponents by raising the bet to twenty chips. This is a 2 million yen bet.
Yukimi notices that Tsuzura is different from usual. Tsuzura tells herself that she wants to become strong. Shougou admits that Tsuzura exceeds his expectations. He then gives her a lesson on how to apply pressure. Shougou goes all in. The Literary Club members are astounded.

Shougou doesn’t reveal that he had 4, 7, and a jack, which is a Blackjack. He tells himself that Tsuzura was doomed from the start. Tsuzura starts the bet with one chip in the next turn. Shougou immediately goes all in. Tsuzura’s hand comprises a 10, 3, and 9, so she folds. Mikoto laughs at Tsuzura for folding again. She reminds her that it’s impossible to win by always folding.
Shougou goes all in in the next two turns. Yukimi thinks this strategy is bad, as Tsuzura doesn’t lose many chips by folding. Tsuzura gets a Blackjack in the following turn. Shougou quickly folds, giving his opponent one chip. Mary can’t believe the middle school boy is folding only when Tsuzura has a good hand.
