The Outbidding Girl is the 90th chapter of Kakegurui, written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Toru Naomura.
Summary[]
Sayaka has 300 billion yen at her disposal from a safe for the student council. Kirari stops folding, and goes all in against Ririka. Rin keeps on getting votes using scumcoins. Sayaka tells the students that he can't catch up with Yumeko at this rate. Terano arrives and says that she plans on making Kirari win in exchange for a vice-president seat. In reality, they want a situation where Yumeko and Kirari are close in votes, and whoever gets their votes instantly wins. The best-case scenario is one where they use all of their votes to gamble and win, making Terano the new president. Sayaka says that she'll pay 100 million for every vote.
Plot[]
300 billion yen safe[]
Kaede gets the safe opened. Sayaka is convinced that they will win the election with 300 billion yen. Sayaka admits that she didn't believe that they'd have that much money at their disposal at first. Kaede reminds Sayaka that this money belongs to the student council, not to them personally. Kaede tells her to be ready for the fallout. Sayaka says that she's already prepared for this.
Change Poker[]
Runa is surprised by how much the tables have turned with the side bets. Kirari has 535 votes, Mary has 308, and Ririka has 151. Mary goes all in, and Kirari folds. Runa thinks that Kirari kept winning during the game because she had them fully read. Now, because of the side bets, Kirari doesn't know how many votes are being bet when Mary and Ririka go all in. So, Kirari has to keep folding.
Kirari finally raises to thirty votes. Mary folded this time. Ririka was about to go all in, but she was cut by Kirari, who asked her : "Which one of us is me?" Mary didn't understand what Kirari meant. Kirari and Ririka stare at each other. Kirari points out a major hole in Mary's strategy. They need to go all in every time, or else Kirari will be able to read them. So, just one loss can cost them everything.
Kirari declares that Ririka can't stay herself if she wants to win. She has to become Kirari. Ririka says that she's fine with losing. Her top priority is Mary. Ririka goes all in.
Votes Buying[]
Sayaka has a stand. She'll spend fifteen million yen for every vote. She only found two sellers. Rin buys votes for 20 million. He'll raise the scumcoin exchange rate to Kirari's vote count time 20 000. Sayaka proposes to the crowd to buy votes for 30 million. Rin tells them that 30 million per vote is not realistic. Sayaka tells Rin in front of everyone that at this rate, Rin will not gain enough votes to top Yumeko's 1019 votes.
The crowd agrees with that. Terano suddenly arrives. She plans on making Kirari win in exchange for a vice-president seat. Most of the former election candidates are siding with Terano. Terano then says she'll pay 40 million for every vote. They pay with scumcoins. Sayaka tries to use logic to convince the students that this is a scam, but she doesn't succeed. Rin knows that Terano is lying.
They're actually trying to create a situation where Yumeko and Kirari are close in votes, and whoever gets their votes instantly wins. The best-case scenario is one where they use all of their votes to gamble and win, making Terano the new president. Rin is convinced of Sayaka's defeat. Sayaka blocks the way of the students. She says that she'll give one hundred million yen for every vote.
