Nagi Kamishimo to Soutarou Ibuki

The Ravishing Girl is the 42nd chapter of Kakegurui Twin, written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Kei Saiki.

Summary[]

Soutarou asks Nagi what they should do with Mary. Ouri interrupts them. She warns them that they should not underestimate Mary, as she defeated Sakura and the Ougatou Sisters. Eneru was also defeated by members of the Literary Club. Ouri believes that Mary has got something else than just a lot of talent. Nagi admits that he played with her. He says that she wasn’t that big of a deal. Nagi asks Ouri if she lost to Mary. Ouri gets furious. Nagi apologizes and explains that they’re taking Mary too seriously. He adds that to defeat Mary, they need to make arrangements, so there’s no chance of losing. Ouri doesn’t know what he means. Ouri informs Nagi and Soutarou of Aoi's orders. The situation has changed with Eneru’s loss. Aoi will start the call to action on the last day of the Great Bloom Festival. Until that time, they shouldn't deal with Mary. Ouri leaves.

Nagi asks Soutarou why he likes Aoi so much. Soutarou answers that it’s because of the strength of his will. He admits that he can’t judge what is justice and what is evil. All he knows is that Aoi is taking on a woman with absolute power over the school. Soutarou wants to help Aoi. Nagi tells him to go beat Mary then. He says that Aoi gave this order because Full-Bloom members keep losing to Mary. Nagi adds that a useful servant knows how to fulfill his master’s wishes without being told them.

Kokoro and Nadeshiko came to the Literary Club's gambling den. Mary accepts to play against them. Nagi and Soutarou enter the room, worrying Mary and Tsuzura. Mary knows what Nagi wants. He’s trying to drive customers away from the Literary Club, just like Sachiko did. Mary suggests playing against Nagi with high-stakes. Mary says she’ll join Full-Bloom if she loses. She thinks it’s the only way to make Nagi leave. Nagi declines. He admits that he might lose if the stakes are high, but with low stakes, he believes that he’s guaranteed not to lose money. Meanwhile, Sakura plans on stopping Full-Bloom.
