Summary[]
The game of choice poker begins, and Kaede Manyuda believes that Yumeko Jabami has no chance against him.
Plot[]
After challenging Kaede Manyuda to a public match, Yumeko Jabami and him engage in a game of Choice Poker. After the vice-president explains the rules, they begin the game. However, Mary Saotome says that this game is a huge disadvantage for Yumeko. Ryota Suzui ask her why, and she explains that in normal Poker you can compete even with one whip, but in this game, you would have to return a huge bet. The chips are set at 10 million yen per. Yumeko takes 31 chips and Kaede takes 100. Itsuki Sumeragi remarks that the amount Kaede asked for is expected because of his amount of financial banking, and Ryota questions if Yumeko will win this gamble.
The first round begins. Yumeko discards a king and jack, and Kaede discards a 4. Kaede tests Yumeko by betting 10 chips, and Yumeko raises 10 chips, and Kaede lets Yumeko have it. Yumeko chooses that she has the stronger hand. They both reveal their cards, and they both have no hand, but with her high ace, Yumeko wins. Kaede then concludes that Yumeko is insane and gets off on enormous risks. Kaede believes he is going to win because of his analysis.
