Summary[]
During round 8, Mary plays a knight and loses to the other two, who play kings. Since both of their dice rolled to ‘king’, the result is a draw. As round 9 begins, Yua wants to play a serf to strike a decisive blow at Sachiko. She expects a draw that would make it hard for others to play the king again. Both Yua and Mary play a serf, while Sachiko wins with the knight. Mary and Yua play kings during round 10. While Sachiko takes the victory with a serf. Yua is convinced that Sachiko is cheating. Mary suggests they raise the stakes. She wants to make the bet per round 50 million yen. The other players agree. Round 11 starts. Yua believes Sachiko is cheating during the showdown signal. She thinks a camera might be present in the lighting that points toward her. She thus gives the impression she’ll play a king but instead plays a knight. Mary and Sachiko both play king, making Yua lose.

Mary realizes that Yua has been outplaying her this whole time. By playing the king, Yua is slowly making Mary lose. As round 9 begins, Yua wants to play a serf to strike a decisive blow at Sachiko, her only concern right now. She expects a draw that would make it hard for others to play the king again, aware that Yua might play serf. Both Yua and Mary play a serf, while Sachiko wins with the knight.
Yua is shocked and wonders how Sachiko is reading them. Mary and Yua play kings during round 10. While Sachiko takes the victory with a serf. Yua is convinced that Sachiko is cheating. When she believes to have found out how. Mary suggests they raise the stakes. She wants to make the bet per round 50 million yen. Sachiko points out that if she loses the next round, she’s immediately out. To Mikoto’s surprise, Yua agrees. Shougou explains to Mikoto why he believes this favors Yua over Mary. Instead of Sachiko, Yua, and Mary being able to play in a minimum of respectively 17, 8, and 5 rounds; they can only play in a minimum of 4, 2, and 1 rounds.
Yukimi doesn’t understand Yua accepting it. Since Mary has the most to lose, she should’ve questioned the reason for the proposal. Round 11 starts. Yua believes Sachiko is cheating during the showdown signal. She thinks a camera might be present in the lighting that points toward her. With the goal in mind to win everything back, she gives the impression she’ll play a king but instead plays a knight. Her intentions are read. Mary and Sachiko both play king, making Yua lose.
