Summary

Flashback

The Momobami twins will make Terano the head of the family if she can guess which of them is Kirari. If Terano picks the wrong one, the Totobamis will be wiped out of the picture. Terano bows out.

Present

Terano tells Yumi that since the Grand Tournament didn't go as planned, they'll have to gather votes the proper way. Only a few people have many votes. Kirari has 578, Mary has 250, and Yumeko also has 250.

Kirari and Ririka meet. Ririka tells Kirari that thanks to Mary, she has become herself. She then challenges Kirari to a gamble. Meanwhile, Terano and Yumeko agree on the fact that Kirari has the greatest chance of winning the election. Terano then challenges her to a gamble.

Plot

Flashback

Terano, Yumi, and Sumika are conversing with Kirari and Ririka while the grown-ups are in another room. The Momobami twins will make Terano the head of the family if she can guess which of them is Kirari. Terano has doubts, thinking that they can’t decide that. The sisters say that their grandmother gave them this right. If Terano picks the wrong one, the Totobamis will be wiped out of the picture. Terano asks Sumika if she has a pick. Sumika can’t tell either, but she believes that if one of them tells a lie, it will show up on their face. Terano thinks that they truly believe they’re the same. She then bows out.

Present

Yumi wakes up Terano, who was remembering the past. Yumi tells her that it was a lot of fun before Kirari became the family head and that they had nothing to worry about. Terano disagrees with what Yumi said because anyone born in The Hundred Devouring Families is burdened with and tied to their fates. Kirari is not an exception. Terano says that since the Grand Tournament didn't go as planned, they'll have to gather votes the proper way. Only a few people have many votes. Kirari has 578, Mary has 250, and Yumeko also has 250. Terano is about to say who they need to fight.

Kirari asks Ririka what Mary thinks of her right now. Kirari tells her that she cares about her a lot. Ririka says that Mary is always angry about something. Ririka adds that Mary is much more vulgar and ill-mannered than she thought at first. She describes Mary as clumsy and violent. Ririka admits that Mary also gives her strength and that thanks to her, she has learned about purpose, friendship, and will. Thanks to Mary, Ririka has become herself.

Ririka challenges Kirari to a gamble. Kirari laughs and says that she never expected to hear that from Ririka. Kirari was about to challenge Ririka to a gamble herself.

Terano asks Yumeko who has the greatest advantage in this election and who has the greatest chance of winning. Yumeko answers Kirari. Terano agreed. Neither Yumeko nor Terano wants to give up on the election. Terano asks Yumeko what they should do to improve their chances and challenges Yumeko to a gamble.
