The Ying-Yang Girl (Part 1) is the first part of the sixty-eighth chapter of Kakegurui written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Toru Naomura.

Summary

The second semi-final match between Mary Saotome and Miyo Inbami begins, and it seems as if Miyo has a plan to win.

Plot

Yumeko Jabami has moved onto the final match after defeating Midari Ikishima, but before it can take place, the second semi-final match between Miyo Inbami and Mary Saotome must bring forth a single winner. Before it begins, Miyo asks Mary if she truly has a reason to win. Mary says no and that she just wants to win. Mary also asks Kurara Kurokura, the dealer, that if Miyo was to use poison, she would be kicked out. Kurara tells her that as long as there is evidence that incriminates Miyo, then yes. The match begins.

In a hallway, Miri Yobami observes Miyo competing and immediately asks Yumi Totobami where the game is being held. Miyo starts the game with 100 votes and Mary starts with 268. The first turn begins with Mary exchanging two scissors and a paper and Miyo exchanging two rocks. The head cards are then set and the betting begins. Miyo bets 10 votes and Mary calls. In the showdown, Miyo beats Mary's rock with her paper. The second turn begins. Mary exchanges a rock and paper and Miyo exchanges nothing. The betting starts with Mary raising 30 votes. Miyo raises to a total of 50 votes and Mary calls. Miyo again beats Mary, but this time by beating her paper with a scissors. The third turn begins. Mary exchanges one card and Miyo once again doesn't exchange anything. Mary believes she'll win with her paper five of a kind, leading Mary to bet 40 votes. Miyo raises her 100 votes.

It soon becomes clear that Miyo Inbami went into this game against Mary Saotome with a few tricks up her sleeve that are soon revealed!

Plot

Mary Saotome believes Miyo Inbami is bluffing with her 100 vote raise, so she calls. Miyo once again beats Mary with her scissors against her paper. Mary goes into an outrage, believing that Miyo must be cheating. After inspecting the room, Mary notices something with the cards and sits back down to resume the game. Turn four begins, and Miyo realizes that she has no paper in her hand. Mary asks to use the bathroom. Miyo allows Mary to leave as long as she leaves all her cards in the room. Mary sits back down. Miyo then reveals that her cheat was that she would prick the cards with her needle in a certain place depending upon the card. She identifies Mary's head card as a scissors, so she plays a paper. Miyo starts the betting at 80 votes, but Mary quickly goes all in. Miyo calls. The showdown commences and Mary beats Miyo with her paper against Miyo's rock. Mary then tells Miyo that she figured out her cheat and doctored her head card. They move onto turn five, and Miyo goes all in. Mary tells her that it's already over because she's been counting the cards. She deducts that Miyo's head card is a rock. Miyo recognizes defeat and asks Mary to shuffle the cards back into the deck, which is a clear violation of the rules. Mary refuses and Miyo swallows a pill, to which only she has the antidote too, and says she will die in 10 minutes. From her room, Terano Totobami comments on Miyo's relationship with her sister Miri Yobami. She says that if Miyo wins The Election, the Inbamis and Yobamis can become one again.
